Those who don’t know about this incident, we must tell you that an elephant wandered into Kerala's Malappuram village in search of food. To scare him off, the villagers fed her a pineapple laced with firecrackers. The crackers burst in her mouth, causing her immense pain. The elephant couldn't bear the pain. She stood in a river to prevent insects from feeding on her wound. She died while she was standing in the water.
